I think it’s time I talked about the time I got on the wrong bus and ended up in Turin instead of Milan...
Basically I was on my way to visit friends and we were gonna meet in Milan to go hit the ski slopes in LaThuile and I was in Tuscany with family for New Years, so I decided to take a bus.... first mistake
So the bus leaves at 4am so I’m literally a zombie by the time I board this fucking greyhound that I’d be in for the next 8 hours... basically the ticket had been translated badly and said that I had a 1 hr stop instead of a 1 hr layover to get onto a different bus...
So in Genova, I don’t get off the bus and sleep through the stop... second mistake... side note, literally 2 people get off the bus and there’s 30 of us on there so it wasn’t weird that I stayed on...
Anyways all of a sudden we cross the state line to Piemonte and I’m like it would take too long to get to Lombardy from here and check the distance in my phone and it’s a mess because I’m way too far off...
Anyways we get to Turin and I’m freaking out because I have all of 10 minutes to get to Milan from Turin, so I start frantically texting my friends explaining what happened and trying to get on a train to Milan...
Basically, I end up having to walk 1,3km from the Greyhound station to the train station to get on an interstate line to a place called Ivrea (a small town in the middle of butfuck nowhere) because it’s between Milan and LaThuile and my friend are going to meet me there
So I get on this fucking train, this time being extremely careful of when I have to switch from interstate to a state line and when I finally get on the third and final train for the remaining 45 minutes of my journey, the fucking person behind me starts hotboxing the carriage...
I was so done by the time I got to see my friends... this story is a lot longer and a lot more dramatic (mostly because my phone was on 1%) and if I ever blow up on social media I’ll do a proper story time because I don’t feel like typing 400 tweets in this thread...
