I’ve had a few questions about the #gold ETF buying seen over the past month or so, namely how big is this compared to the 2008-2010 period.

I’ve pulled our database of ETFs and drawn up some charts.

First rolling 4 weekly.

And then rolling 13 weekly.

Finally, rolling yearly.

In all cases it shows that inflows have been strong, but not the strongest we've recorded, although if this carries on for much longer that might change.
