Basically moisturizer are made of a balance of three types ingredients that is humectants, emmollients and occlusive agents. So harini I nak explain about this three ingredients.

Humectants is an ingredient that pull out water molecules out from our skin surface and humectants ni dalam bahasa yang senang nak faham is HYDRATION. so korang semua tahu kan quote "hydration is the key".
Contoh humectants ni Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin and Lactic Acid. Moreover, humectants ni sesuai untuk all skin types. So kalau korang nak cari moisturizer, korang boleh cari yang ada ingredients ni.

THE LAST ONE IS OCCLUSIVE! Occlusive ni lebih kurang sama function dengan emollients. In addition, its prevent your skin from water-loss and retain moisture. Example of ingredient is zinc oxide, lanolin and some oils like castor and mineral
So korang boleh looks out for this ingredient before beli moisturizer. Ingat tau moisturizer penting sebab its one of basic skincare routine. Cleanser, Moisturizer, Sunscreen / sunblock. THIS IS IMPORTANT KALAU KORANG NAK HEALTHY SKIN!
Benda ni basic kalau korang nak healthy skin. Kalau korang dah ada three basic ni, means skincare routine korang dah solid and boleh add-on dengan others skincare routine such as essence, toner etc.
