Many people own a Bible, but due to their busy life haven't picked it up in a while.

Others worry it will be really complicated and that they won't understand it.

Others think its all fake anyway

But right now, is the perfect time to pick up and read your Bible. We are in a world where people have many questions and few answers. But the Bible is a book if answers, a book of great wisdom and inspiration. A truly living book, there is nothing like it.

Over the years it has brought me great comfort. But it has also rebuked me, it has inspired me with great lessons from ancient battles and villains and heroes, it has made me cry, it has made me dance alone in my room.

When i was in debt it helped saved me, when i doubted my self it showed me who i am to God, when i am confused by life, it explains it. When i think i know it, it shows me how little i know.

Right now you may not believe it is anything special, you may not even believe it is Gods word, you may not even believe in God. But what do you have to lose? Nothing.

It will tell you about yourself, it will help you understand life, it will explain things that you have secretly pondered on for years, it will open your eyes to a new world. Not because of the Book itself. But you will see the author as you turn the pages, you will hear him.

By opening the book you will be challenged, inspired, uplifted, maybe corrected, but you will never know if you leave it on the shelf. Pick up your Bible today, be brave. It could be the beginning of the greatest adventure of your life.

And one last word of advice. There will be parts you don't at first understand, but don't worry about that. Just ask God to help you understand and you will be amazed how he will rush to be your teacher and open your eyes in new ways to hidden meanings in life.
