I think we online Catholics should know the credentials of those who set themselves up as opinion formers.

Are these credentials fit for purpose?

And don't forget: even if they are certified up to the gills in Theology, Church History, Moral or Sacramental Theology (they ain't!), they would still, as laity, have no authority whatever to even give their opinions on anything Catholic. That goes for all of us of course.
