This consequence of #COVID19 is what worries me. Children living through trauma, & then children being removed in traumatic ways.
“In family court proceedings last week we had two children removed from their parents by phone – that’s unheard of,” https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/14/family-court-urgent-care-hearings-rise-since-coronavirus-lockdown?__twitter_impression=true">https://amp.theguardian.com/world/202...

Can we prioritise getting these families daily support?
Enable people who already know the child to offer support; have the child during daytime or stay overnight as required.
People offering these relationships are key workers.
Relieve the pressure

To do this we have to take more risk. Prioritise informal, known relationships to the child.
Giving a child a voice and some control over who this person is matters.
Reward is less trauma and broken relationships.
1million people volunteered in UK. We can do this.
