This needs to be said: kudos to @G_I_DLE Miyeon and Yuqi for singing their parts flawlessly while dancing. Each time can only be sung in one breath because there's no stop in-between their lines, so the singers have to have a strong stamina to support their voices.
Miyeon and Yuqi may have the least seconds in the distribution, but their lines are the hardest!!! No one else in the the group can sing that part as well as they can.
When you pay more attention to this song, it's a lot more technical than you think. Giving the buildup to the members that have the strongest voices is essential to make the song as great as possible.

The amount of seconds don't matter anymore.
Also let's not forget that their parts are fast too. They have a lot of words to sing in so little time. Soojin gets more seconds than them because her parts are slow, with longer notes in some of the words.
Soojin actually sang lesser lines than Yuqi and Miyeon. It just seems as if she sang more because her parts have a lot of longer and slower notes. If Miyeon and Yuqi would sing their lines in the same speed and the same style, they would get more seconds than Soojin.
I actually counted how many syllables these three sang (yes I have too much time in my hands), and Miyeon and Yuqi sang 55 syllables while Soojin sang 44 syllables.

In the end, the argument that Soojin has more lines is invalid because it was never the case in the first place.
People also need to remember that in those clapped line distribution videos, they also count adlibs!!! Not actual lines!!!!!! They count how long they sing!!! Not how much they actually have to sing!!!!!

In the end, it WAS fair from the start.

I rest my case.
