this hashtag is so uniquely special, honestly. it isn’t for thirst trapping but so much more. it’s about how people are stepping out of their comfort zones, how people are feeling confident, how people are spreading positivity..
..how people are loving themselves just a lil’ bit more than before, how people are feeling sexy with no regrets, how everyone is coming together. that’s why this hashtag is so damn special, despite all the negativity/toxicity surround the community..

..in rare instances you see the most beautiful things coming out of it. since Sunday, seeing all these beautiful people on my TL as well as seeing all those interactions warms my heart & just makes me feel so damn happy.

for years, I myself have suffered with feeling confident in my own skin. struggled with extremely dark times/thoughts. I seriously didn’t think I would get out of that mindset or even feel like I could look myself in the mirror and say something positive.

around the end of last year, I had a different outlook on things. I went through a lot of changes that slowly led me to feel like I could look at myself and think, “you look good today.” with that came this sense of security & love for yourself.

the process wasn’t easy but I was lucky enough to have surrounded myself with some amazing souls, you all know who you are.
