I am going to try and bust some myths around #coronavirus and #MadhyaPradesh

This is the answer to the misinformation being spread by certain individuals and media outlets.

Please stay tuned.
Question 1:

Why #MadhyaPradesh has emerged as a major #COVID__19 hotspot?
Okay. Let’s start. What’s the population of Madhya Pradesh?

Approximately 7.8 Crore.

How many Covid cases?

987 as of 15.04.2020 at 10:00 AM

How many in #Indore and #Bhopal?

80%
Yes, 80%
Why #Indore and #Bhopal ?

1. Higher number of returning Indians from foreign lands

2. Higher number of Migrant labour

3. Jamatis, who participated in Markaz and returned to various places including Indore and Bhopal.

4. Health workers, who did not follow protocol.
How many districts are impacted?

24 districts are impacted by this virus and remaining 28 districts have zero #COVID__19 cases...
Why there is no Health Minister?

This is a political question but let’s try and answer this honestly. How many of you’re aware of who are the health ministers of top four Covid impacted states?
These states are Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan.

Well you can google it and share their names with me but... but...

All you know is that the respective CMs are leading the states against this pandemic. And their only job is this and nothing else.
So people who are questioning why no health minister in MP and just those politicians and their stooges, who are either waiting to become Ministers or the losers from Congress.
Okay. Let’s come to the next question. Why no health secretary?

There is one. A very senior and capable IAS officer at the rank of Additional Chief Secretary is managing the health portfolio.

His name is Mohammad Suleman. You can google about him.
Why there is a shortage of PPEs and masks etc?

Initially all states (in fact, entire country) faced this situation but as in today MP has stock of

68000 : PPEs
1,55,000 : N95 Masks
39,86,000 : three layered masks
33,70,000 : HQCN tablets
2,775 : oxygen cylinders
Why there is not enough testing in MP?

Well, to identify these 987 positive cases 7250 samples were collected.

As per ICMR guidelines, these samples are collected and tested only after symptoms emerge. This is across the country and not just in MP
Why there are no enough testing labs in MP?

Wasn’t that the case in many states few days back?

Now, ICMR has approved 9 labs in MP to conduct tests, which was three earlier.

As of now 12.698 test kits are available and daily around 1500 kits are being added.
What else?

I don’t know. If you ask me, I will try and answer. Don’t fall for the fake news machine in overdrive by Congress.

Are there more cases in Rajathan, which is ruled by Congress?

Or in Maharashtra, where there is MVA Govt?
