If we can achieve a similar experience to capturing infrared photos then that opens up a whole new amazing world of photography. Here are some photos that I captured with a Nikon D800 that had an IR filter on the lens to allow just IR light in as camera sensors generally come
With an IR filter that prevents IR light from being captured. So this external filter does the opposite. You can capture some amazing looking images considering that the human eye can't see IR light and everything looks very different from what you'd expect since they reflect IR
Light in different ways. Trees are often golden/creamish and other objects appear brighter or darker too.
You can even play around with the colors and white balance in post production to create more impressive looking images. So while it's a very niche use case. I'm excited to try this out and see what images can be produced :)
