There's this stray black dog in my neighborhood that I've known for a while now. I named him Changbin, and he's friends with a dog I know named Felix.

Felix has an owner and his real name is "Tip" (I still call him Felix though, since I called him that before I knew his name).

So anyway, the owner said Felix and Changbin both were strays that came from no where, but Felix is a lot more open and playful and so when the owner tried to feed them both, Felix was the only one he was able to save from the streets.

So Changbin is basically still a stray.

Changbin is also VERY shy and skiddish and won't let anyone feed him (that's why the owner of Felix couldn't take Bin in as well)

But I've been walking my streets for basically almost a year now, and I have a pretty strong bond with Felix, so he follows me a lot.

Since Changbin is Felix's buddy, he started following me too.

Sometimes when Lix isn't around though, Bin still follows me. Because of this plus Bin's skiddish nature on top of it, I've developed a GIGANTIC soft spot for him.

I love him a lot and I really wanna take him in.

But because hes so shy and scared, he won't let me come within like 5 feet of him. There's only been occasions that he's come closer, and even then its behind me so I don't see him.

Ive been able to feed him a few treats here and there too, but other than that, nothing.

I feel like I have come a long way with him though, he used to keep his distance a lot. But over the past few months hes only gotten closer.

But the point of this thread was; what can I do to help him trust me more? How can I get him to let me love him?
