Reasons why Hordak and Catra are not the same or remotely the same (don't even try it)

- Hordak is literally a clone of dictator

- kidnapped children from their homes to raise them as child soldiers after destroying said homes
- allowed said children to be indefinitely abused by their 'caretaker'
- only ever starts to care about anything when Entrapta comes along and even then it took forever to happen and only happened when Entrapta told him an abridged version of what he wanted Horde Prime to say basically
- was ready to murder Catra and has likely murdered other force captains, acting commanders, etc. For disobeying orders

- They don't even breathe the same oxygen, my guy

- Hordak was literally acting because he was a clone made by Horde Prime to conquer planets for HP
- Catra is a child who was literally broken physically, emotionally, and psychologically since she was probably an infant at the Horde

- Catra actually feels regret for her actions overall even though we don't fully see that till s4 because she was hiding her emotions
- Hordak only feels regret because of Entrapta and the fact that Horde Prime came because he wanted to be the one in charge

- her abuse DIRECTLY correlates with her actions, while hordak being neglected by his brother and him kidnapping CHILDREN for his army do not correlate
- hordak has no background in abuse, the most he had was boohoo, you're a defect, do your best to fight anyway and die on the field. Catra had her life threatened on numerous occasions just because she exists

- Catra doesn't see herself as redeemable (as a good person)
- Hordak doesn't think he needs to be redeemed (he doesn't care about good)

- he literally thought conquering Etheria would get him to be back on top. Catra was aiming to be on top to BE on top because she no longer wanted anyone to be able to hurt her.
