It& #39;s a controversial stance that I& #39;ve gotten some hatred for, that developer vision has to come before accessibility. People say it slows progress down. I think it& #39;s sped up progress and led to my work in accessibility exceeding my wildest dreams.

Creative vision is paramount.
Not every person& #39;s vision is compatible with accessibility needs. And I& #39;m sorry but not every game can be played by every person. Instead of throwing a tantrum and saying "this game didn& #39;t meet my needs", accept you can& #39;t play the game and move on. There& #39;s SO MANY games out there
This isn& #39;t access to businesses or elevators or stadiums or airplanes. This is video games. It& #39;s not the same thing. You can& #39;t tell someone that their vision has to be changed so that someone who might not even like the game can experience it on their terms.

It& #39;s not reasonable.
I genuinely believe I& #39;ve been able to make tons of progress and gets hundreds of games accessibility options just on the basis of being approachable. Nobody feels under attack or like they& #39;re assholes when I approach them and say "do you know what would be way cool? Options!"
