When did “the president” brief Congress on COVID-19?

Maybe his administration did?

There was a Senate briefing on Feb. 5 that @ChrisMurphyCT tweeted about — also the day the Senate ACQUITTED the president of impeachment charges https://twitter.com/gopleader/status/1250242186274201600">https://twitter.com/gopleader...
Here is the entirety of what the president said 2/5 in his State of the Union:

"Protecting Americans’ health also means fighting infectious diseases. We are coordinating with the Chinese government and working closely together on the coronavirus outbreak in China..." (1/2)
"...My administration will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat." (2/2)
The president& #39;s budget, submitted AFTER the State of the Union, proposed further CDC cuts, though not necessarily to pandemic preparedness. Nonetheless, Trump administration officials received this criticism from Rep. @TomColeOK04 -->
Cole told the CDC& #39;s Redfield: "Your requirement is to come and do what you all do, and that’s defend the presidential budget," but called the outbreak "vindication of the bipartisan judgment over the last several years that this was really an area we needed to make investments.”
This of course came after Cole said in 2017: "I promise you the president is much more likely in his term to have a deal with a pandemic than an act of terrorism. I hope he doesn’t have to deal with either one, but you have to be ready to deal with both.” https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/5/23/15674704/trump-health-research-tom-cole">https://www.vox.com/policy-an...
State of the Union was Feb. 4. President was acquitted Feb. 5.
