I’ve been diving back in my old work I & I still have so many images I’ve never touched
I still can’t believe we went through all that in 2015 it felt like a movie Smdh the depression and anxiety that came after The Uprising was heavy
Being on front lines really change how you see and view life
So many emotions, I never thought I would be on the frontlines! My life was never the same after living through documenting the uprising in my city
Revisiting images I captured post the death of Freddie Gray; I still can't believe it's been five years.

I remember marching and protesting with my big Bro Gee & Stokey for weeks. It’s crazy my guy is no longer here miss you dummy, Rest easy Gee 🙏🏾😢

Drunk baseball fans upset about the stadium being shut down due to protest, start antagonizing protesters by calling us monkeys, niggers & throwing food at us.
That’s when everything erupted and spilled on to the streets, thats when fights, destruction of property & police cars started.
