Those of us who research infectious disease outbreaks @HarvardChanSPH are embarrassed that for the moment he has the affiliation with our school and look forward to the time when he will not sully our institution with his mix of platitudes and alarmist nonsense
The distinction btw nutritional epi and infectious disease epi may seem like inside baseball. But having this person on as an epidemiologist is like having an ambassador to Russia on to comment on Saudi Arabia, on the grounds that she is an "Asia expert." True but not on point.
