the sheer amount of sexism men spout against women that didn’t like their favorite books... I’d never get the same amount of hate for disliking a popular book. it’s sad to see.

i especially hate the phrase “you just didn’t understand the book!”... excuse me....? some of these women are the smartest people i know and that’s a blatantly sexist excuse when we all know you really want to say “haHA women dumb”

and they hide behind blank profile pictures and computer screens when the reviewer spends their time, energy, money, etc. to provide GREAT content to their followers.
