I believe the future church will go in two radical directions...isolation with consumption of videos (5-10 mega-cyber churches in USA) AND decentralized networks of biblical churches of 50 or less people led by teams of men and women equipping the leaders and raising up new ones.

People won't be paid to lead those churches, a few will be paid to lead/support the networks. Churches will grow through mission not assimilation into services. Giving will go primarily to meeting needs, missional endeavors, and support for theological education for new leaders.

That theological formation will happen in homes, with a few embedded professors teaching everyday leaders and will be essentially free.
