Earlier, I defended Sanders& #39; endorsement of Biden to someone on here as him doing what he said he& #39;d do. But this goes well beyond that. I am extremely disappointed in Bernie Sanders and it hurts to say that/see this. https://apnews.com/a1bfb62e37fe34e09ff123a58a1329fa">https://apnews.com/a1bfb62e3...
What really gets under my skin is his comment about @briebriejoy. How quickly he turned on the staff who worked tirelessly for him is really inexcusable to put it lightly.
Sanders has built up a lot of good will but that goes away if he keeps throwing his base under the bus.

Bernie still will not be given credit no matter how hard he props up Biden. If Biden loses, he (and his supporters) will be blamed. He seems to have barely gotten concessions out of Biden for all this, at least from what we& #39;ve seen so far. So... why?
The right way for Bernie to endorse Biden would have been to come out and show the progressive campaign staffers/prospective cabinet appointments being brought on, as well as (and this is important) support for the #1 issue of his campaign & base: Medicare for All.
Show us "look, we know there& #39;s a gulf between our sides of the party but we are going to have a seat at the table in his administration." THAT is how you keep your integrity and bring over voters.
Anyway, seems any semblance of a progressive platform is dead in this election.
