I know money is not the main motivation for HCWs to volunteer/work at frontlines but IMHO should just blanket the allowance to (at least) all clinical KKM staff. Then selectively choose the admin staff helping back end work, eg contact tracing, etc.

Somehow the current situation will change the way everyone work; staff redeployment means existing staff will cover extra work (eg HCW from ENT ward goes to SARI ward). Cross department cover is common.

In the busyness of everyday work, sending in claim form is the least of everyone’s concern (actually many can’t even find the time), so the govt should do them the favour, remove the headache & add into salary account automatically.
