I’m really disappointed with what I’ve seen on Twitter these last few days. There’s zero analysis, strategy, or level headed thinking. It’s all knee jerk reactions with harmful suggestions that lack reality. I know you’re all upset, but now is not the time to disintegrate.

Leaving the party sounds really good right now, but it’s not the solution. You don’t leave after 5 years of fighting. You don’t leave once your ideas are mainstream. And you certainly don’t leave when more progressives than ever are running. They’re counting on you.

How will anyone listen to your ideas, or enact your platforms if your vote no longer matters? Retreating is one of the worst things you could possibly do. What’s your plan after you’ve left, realistically how are you going to get people in power?
