So, I feel like a few things need to be stated/reminded for those that forgot
I have been Roleplaying for over half my life, make of that what you will. With that experience, I have seen countless things. I may lose some followers, or I may not, but it still needs to be said)

1a- Canon characters will always be more popular than OC& #39;s. Yes, it sucks if you& #39;re an OC but this is what we gotta accept. You could have an OC that you& #39;ve spend months crafting to have only 80 followers a month in, only to make a canon character who gets 100 in a week.
1b- Does that mean you should judge your character as bad because of that? Hell no. You made this character, be proud of that and don& #39;t try to compete with other people
2a- People who draw their characters "good" will always be more popular than those who draw their "bad" or don& #39;t draw at all. This can make an OC more popular than a canon character and a canon character in an unreachable area. Especially when other followers have a chance to
have their characters drawn by interacting with them
2b- Should you give up or think your drawings suck? Fuck no. That& #39;s your style, and you& #39;re doing great. Don& #39;t compare yourself. If you want to improve, improve on your scale, not someone else& #39;s and enjoy what you can do

3a- There will always be the cliques. There& #39;s a group of RPers that you really like and want to join in, but no matter what you do, you can& #39;t get anything going. But this new OC or Canon character got in because they can draw or just happen to be what one member wanted.
3b- Unfortunately that& #39;s just how it is. People form groups of friends, having a good time, and someone is trying to butt in, that& #39;s the feeling they have. Don& #39;t take it personally, if they don& #39;t interact with you, move on. Don& #39;t depend on this group even if they& #39;re everywhere.
4a- Some people will just not like you. It could be your character, the way you type, how you interact, anything.
4b- Don& #39;t worry about it. You can& #39;t make everyone happy, you can& #39;t be everyone& #39;s friend. Don& #39;t let what they think or say upset you.
5a- There will always be a RP partner issue. Someone might get super clingy to your character and be upset you rp with someone else, they would get super clingy with you as a person. They will randomly disappear for no reason.
5b- There are just people like that and there& #39;s no helping it, look out for your own safety and well being is all I can offer. As for a disappearing partner, hope. Hope that they& #39;re okay and that they& #39;ll eventually return. It& #39;s all you can do at that point
6a- Getting obbsessed with RP. This is not a "this thread is so good, I gotta respond right away", in a "I have to respond to everything, even though I& #39;m exhausted and have nothing to go on and I& #39;m losing sleep". When roleplaying becomes a job, not a hobby
