All true at the same time: 1) Trump and his admin have done a terrible job of preparation & response. 2) China lied and is lying and cannot be trusted. 3) WHO was co-opted by China & that contributed to the debacle, but can otherwise be useful as a global institution.

It would be a dangerous blunder for those who oppose Trump, and I am proudly in their number, to disregard China's malign behavior here just because Trump also criticizes China.

Level the criticism based on facts and the values of the free world, not Trump's reactionary bombast and xenophobia. China is not a good faith partner in this fight. At all. Don't let hatred of Trump blind you to that.

Trump is going to spend day after day of this crisis passing the buck, attacking the media, and generating scandals to keep the spotlight on him and away from the sane, competent people who could run the country and save lives. Do you let him get away with it? Again?
