I feel like that situation negatively affected Kodie’s career but reflected positively on the other two involved. imo men coming for women has always been sus to me. Like what do you gain from it?
All parties involved seemed to get back cool again. But here comes the proof of the “boys club” nonsense that is heavily exhibited in the music industry...Uzi & Trppie’s careers both sky rocketed, although Kodie literally prompted Trip on a daily in the height of her career...
Uzi and Kodie went on to have not 1, but 3 collaborations...
Trippie and Kodie have 5 collaborations so far that are actually dropped....
Why aren’t any of the songs with Kodie Shane & Uzi on streaming platforms? The ones that ppl make profit from? What about some of the songs with Trippie? Why when Trippie posted a video listening to EA Uzi reposted it on Ig, but not the videos from Kodie?
Why Kodie Shane, an equally (even more) talented artist, amazing performer, great personality, not egotistical and very humble, who has Also been in spaces for growth several times, in spaces other artists wish they could be in, not have the same success as her male counterparts?
Why aren’t Kodie’s male counterparts supporting her like she did for them? She constantly shared her spotlight with upcoming artists & still does. There’s literally so many Kodie Shane’s out now. She’s the blueprint. Where are her accolades?
