I love the woooosh it makes when I power it on
Problem, I have too go from another mac too set up the server -_-
Does the G5 support admin tools? If not, I'm fucked cuz I don't have any other mac around
Alright, new plan. Going to run a El Capitan vm and pray to the tech gods it lets me set up this server
OMFG YES FINALLY
This was a bitch, I finally got it though. Had to use some other VirtualBox someone else made, but I got it. Now to set it up and see if I can remote into the xserve

Oh fuck me :|
Intermission: I completely forgot I had a coke and grabbed another coke so now I got two bubbly cans of coke.
Okay, three years later I finally get the fuckin vm to work. I was missing a command that a lot of guides kept leaving out
This thread is confusing.
What happened?
Well first I created a OSX Server USB bootable, installed it on the Xserve only to find out I can't set it up from the Xserve itself. Instead I have to remote into it using Admin Tools on another 10.6 Mac

First I tried the G5, but it's only 10.5. The warning said I needed "10.6 or LATER" so I tried El Capitan (easiest to VM) but it wasn't supported and instead says I need strictly a 10.6 mac. So several hours later and here I am installing 10.6 in VirtualBox after
running into thousands of errors cuz nobody can make tech simple anymore which reminds me I need to F8 at the start of the VM then type '-v cpus=1 busratio=20' (don't forget to capture mouse in VM first)
