Dr. Zhang said in the video: We found out in Wuhan that the reason why there were so many patients in Wuhan was that we (first) enabled home isolations, which we (later) realized was a failure.
Dr. Zhang said: Since I haven& #39;t been to Bangladesh, I don& #39;t know how big a (usual) family& #39;s house/apartment is in Bangladesh. In China, we have many people living inside each house/apartment, and the (average) place is small, so home isolations failed in the end.
In Chinese Dr. Zhang& #39;s original words

basically, over a month has passed, nothing happened.
Because
it "is a cruel overreaction and a violation of human rights" and “We couldn’t under any circumstance do what China did,”

BUT centralized quarantine in Wuhan was on average more or less 2 weeks, People get out if they test negative outside 24 hours. All facilities have closed. ZERO death, of over 12k people, was reported in them. Internet connection, video chat, all enabled. What& #39;s to be afraid of?
The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history. Even such recent history.
Of course I hope with all my heart that with or without centralized quarantine things could work out well rapidly in US, Europe, everywhere.
Of course I hope with all my heart that with or without centralized quarantine things could work out well rapidly in US, Europe, everywhere.
The dire fact on the ground remains 1) no centralized quarantine, allowing coronavirus to pass between dearest family members and then the immediate community 2) no institutional/mass-scale contact tracing
