hi im gonna make a thread below this with various ideas in my brain and possible replacements that wouldnt change the design drastically if you already have one (also outfits maybe?)

-instead of TV heads, opt for other electronics or objects. i love object heads a lot so,, (radio, tea pot, pumpkin, idk a fucking knife!! anything works!!)
-i like prism heads a lot too, especially ones that look like terrariums
-removing/adding basic facial features (no mouth--

LOTS of mouths and teeth, etc)
-SONAS WITH MASKS!! MAYBE THEY HAVE MULTIPLE MASKS TO PUT ON, OR THEIR HEAD ROTATES AROUND TO SHOW EXPRESSION!! THEATRE MASK, HALLOWEEN MASK, IDK FUCK IT!!
-plants based creatures. no not "oh they have a flower in their hair :)" i mean tree stump --

foot motherfuckers, vines growing out of your mouth, AWAWAWWWA (works well for hanhaki disease art)
-make the hairstyle (if it has hair) different from your own. whats your dream anime hairstyle? put it on them!! fuck gravity!!
-i see a lot of sonas with animal inspo, but what --

about bug inspiration? many limbs, big ass shell on their back, cool wings, eyes?? sounds rad
-using uncommon elements (not like fire or water, weird shit like bismuth) as design inspiration
-spikey skin
-i see a lot of regular fish or mermaid esc stuff (like how some draw coop)-

but what about deep sea fish? weird ass fish? sting rays? idk something weird looking.
-okay so remove 1/2 their face. split it in half. make it float.
-SPIKY SHOES
-hole in their chest but with an object inside :00
-SKELETON!! its common but maybe do smth like translucent skin

-fuck around with anatomy a little. give them giant hands or really long legs. its really fun trust me
-give them a special object they like to carry around! like a baseball bat or a cardboard box with a bunch of flowers
-if you insist on horns, maybe instead of basic ram or dem-

on horns, do deer antlers or maybe add like 4 sets of horns!! add some fire or string floating in the middle! make the horns have teeth!

CLOTHING SECTION (unless i come up with more ideas for stuff idk)
-BIG. BOOT. LARGE. CLUNKY. DETAILED. B I G. no sneakers

-add shoulder pads it looks cool
-patterned suit. maybe have it cut off at the waist or smth to look different. have the buttons be eyeballs. have the tie be big and exaggerated.
-FRILLS!!! COOL FABRIC!! its more cute/girly and i envy people who can draw good flowy clothes

-if youre gonna make it a hoodie, please make it cool and multicolored and with a design on the front. maybe have the hood have dog ears or something. have the hood go up it looks cooler
-i love those little cape-scarf-hood things (like little red riding hood) theyre cool

-add some really big eyeshadow that goes all the way up to the eyebrows and is super dark
-dripping eyeliner
-the "heart" lipstick (only a small portion of lips have lipstick)
-BIG. ASS. BOWS.
-weird patterned leggings
-goggles.. scientist ones or if its a fish swimming ones..

-weird rings. not jsut a halo like. surrounding the head like its jupiter. different orientations. maybe on da wrists
-no eyes/no mouth. helps you practice with expression only on certain parts of da face :)
-big eyebrows. really big.
-tucked in pants with many MANY belts

-letterman jacket with a bunch of patches related to your interests/personality
-really loose pants that cover everything
-FLUFFY COAT OR SCARF AWAWAWAWA
-those medical bandage things
-just add cool and weird patterns to stuff,, it pays off
-bright colored clothing seems

OKAY NOW ONTO WEIRD ASS CLOTHING REFS I HAVE SAVED I GUESS :)

its easy to find more on pinterest but my problem with that is a lot of the so called "aesthetic" outfits are super basic. i recommend looking up stuff similar to david bowie outfits cause theyre weird and you may find parts you like that look super wacky :)

basic outfits are okay tho, as long as the body and shape and everything makes up for it. ill add to this thread if i have anything else. hope this helps if youre struggling,, idk man. i might be able to help with some peoples designs individually but its really hard since im not
