So I’ve been seeing a few complaints about Tower of God in just the first two episodes and a lot of them are derived From not knowing or not understanding much about the series or what makes Bam special so ima make this thread for anime Onlys.
I keep seeing people say that it’s a knock off hunter x hunter. The only similarities I can even make between the two is that the MC is in pursuit of somebody dear to them.
The reason Bam is in pursuit of Rachel is because she is the only thing he knows. He has no memories of his past up until the point he met Rachel and she is his only friend and the only reason he even gave a damn about the tower was to find her

From here we are introduced to a Ranker, somebody who has climbed to the top of the tower. He puts up a wall made of shinsu, which is the substance that flows throughout the tower and it blows everyone back
Everyone.... except Bam that is. One of my favorite scenes because this weak and frail boy who has absolutely nothing but Guts is somehow the only one strong enough not to get affected by the shinsu. And we all wanna know why
If this series hasn’t piqued your interest within the first two episodes I suggest riding it out to the end of the season but to say you can asses and give a review on it already is absurd. There’s still so many truths to uncover and things we haven’t seen yet.
