The US Coronavirus task force created a ventilator sharing program, "The Dynamic Ventilator Reserve", in which major hospital systems across the US agreed to participate in a "virtual reserve", sharing their ventilators to augment the FEMA medical stockpiles. (WH presser 4/14/20)

This is one more example of how the present Coronavirus crisis has enabled the Federal Gov to update its procedures, supply chains, stockpiles, & general approach to pandemics. If/when there is another challenge, America will be far better prepared.

In addition, POTUS has urged those who produce vital supplies such as PPEs, pharmaceuticals, test reagents & machines, etc to bring production within the US rather than to depend on overseas manufacturing. //End thread//
