Not mentioned in Hyena's earlier post is that both Luminosity and Evil Geniuses chose to not be in Pro League. Ubisoft planned on both being a part of the ten team pro league, with both Soniqs and Disrupt joining them.

Both organizations chose to not continue their partnership with R6 - rumored to be EG due to relocation, LG due to performance relative to cost - Ubisoft could not revert their decision to go to a LAN league, leaving both of these rosters unable to sustain the cost without an org

Rainbow Six is not entering a franchise format, but a partnership between organizations in the pilot program. You cannot field a team without being in the pilot program, meaning you cannot be orgless in PL.

Ubisoft would have had to backtrack on their plans for a LAN league and pilot program requirements to accommodate both LG and EG rosters.

As we mentioned previously, no LG player met any member of the LG org during their entire contract.

Blame should be on both orgs and UBI.
