This is interesting, because I immediately thought of Eric Fisher, who was mediocre to start his career, and wondered how Garett Bolles compared.

Observations in next tweet. https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1232039997357854720
On one hand, Bolles had more penalties than Fisher his first 2 seasons (Bolles 32 accepted, 14 declined/offset, Fisher 22 accepted, 1 declined/offset).

OTOH, Fisher didn't play 2 games as rookie and didn't start a 3rd, and didn't start 2 games his third season.
Bolles, of course, has never missed a game or a start.

Also, Fisher has had O-line coach Andy Heck his first three years -- and Heck is still coaching the Chiefs O-line.

Bolles has had three O-line coaches in three years.
It's why my theory is Bolles' biggest problem is having a different O-line coach every year.

Lack of good coaching spells trouble for the majority of offensive linemen.

If Bolles plays better in 2020, with Munchak coaching him again, then my theory plays out.
