Hmm decisions decisions
To clear my mind :
Dentistry
Pros: is wot u always wanted to do n seems interesting
Cons: sTRESTRESSSTRESSSTRESS and ucat and work experience and exams AAA and socialising and even then u might not get in and your gonna have to stop being introverted
And actually talk
But you would definitely, and I'm saying this with 100% certainty, you will regret not at least applying. It's the one thing you have a slight passion for, dont lose it
But then again if u get rejected(which is highly likely) your gonna be horrified and ur
Family will explicitly remind you of ur rejection all the time, not to mention you'll have disappointed your parents which isn't a nice feeling and its gonna be stress to reapply for another course another year and ucas is HELLAAAAA hard especially since ur dumb and have no logic
If mocks had continued as planned maybe you wouldve been a bit more sure but alas life isn't nice so try ur best
Pro- working in a lovely environment, stable hours, decent pay, could develop into ur own surgery, would be very respectable by ur family and they will be proud
Also you would genuinely be happy(if u did get accepted) and I'm sure youd enjoy it , minus the extreme social situations, but your good with temporary people so dont worry too much. Also as an adult you will change from how you are now...hopefully.
But ucat is my main stress
If ucat weren't needed I would apply for definite but I know I'll do bad bcs it's common sense, logic and problems solving which I'm shit at
Pharmacy is also an option and she reassured you it's a good career but she also seems to encourage u towards dentistry so idk
Pharmacy pros is u dont need work experience u don't need ucat
ALSOOO applications are next year 2021
Whereas dentistry applications are this year :/ which is not fair bcs you'll have just scraped 17 and you're definitely not gonna have a stable mind to be making bug decisions
Hmmm
She said theres no harm trying but shes ur friend so she wouldn't know how the system works n wtvr
I need more time frfr
Hm I guess u could ty doing the online ucat n if u do rllllly bad dont even bother applying for dentistry bcs u clearly wont get in
Ultimately, just think with a calm collected mind,, bcs we both know u dont handle stress well and it runs ur thinking. Anyway just spend a little more time doing research and thinking about it.
U could add to this thread with more thought n wtvr n u can come back to it with a clear mind n reread it or wtvr
Dint even bother with the careers advisor shes actually so useless it's a waste if time hon
Pharmacy would be a huge amount of less stress obviously
And u dont like stress ,clearly
But do u risk it and be some optimist
Or not take the jump and settle with the easier route ? :/
