I just found out that medicaid covers childbirth completely but most private insurances don’t..... this country is an actual fucking joke

We make too much for medicaid so we’re stuck paying an obscene amount monthly for shitty private insurance that doesn’t even cover all of childbirth. It doesn’t cover much of anything, really. My gastro appointment was $200 for a consultation

Our deductible is $6000 AND they won’t even give us a summary of coverage online. LMAO Blue Cross is a fucking joke and we’ll never be able to afford to even HAVE kids at this rate
