How come Furuta lost against Kaneki? He was basically a perfect version of Kaneki, always steps ahead, strong, smart, everything.

In the end, his Super Peace plan was nothing but a distraction. He was serious about it, he even made sure to create a new Rize but looking at this image again, the family he truly wanted wasn& #39;t neccesarily related to Rize.
Furuta is guilty for Ghouls and Humans current coexistence, unfortunately he did awful things to accomplish it and isn& #39;t given credit but his final moments he looks like he found peace.
