If you're an older millennial, your first presidential election was decided by the Supreme Court, two of the three presidents of your adult life won their first terms w/o the popular vote, and the VRA was gutted.

And that without getting into the fact that we're constantly dealing with candidates who still talk about Millennials like we haven't been registered voters FOR TWENTY YEARS.
I have missed one November election since I turned 18 in 2000. A lot of that was privilege and some of it was luck. But it shouldn't be taken as a sign that I was jazzed about my options every time, or even felt like I was on the radar of the people I was voting for.
