I gained the nickname & #39;orders& #39; amongst my friends a few years back because I would always manage to get them some kind of discount or better deal before they parted with their money. So I thought I& #39;d put together some of my top tips while we& #39;re all spending money online...
Google reverse image search is your best friend. Many companies (especially furniture companys) will use the same images but give the item a completely different name and "manufacturer". Example below.
Always. Always. Always search for a code, or sign up for a newsletter. It& #39;ll bag you a sweet 5% off minimum, which might even cover your pistage costs. (and who doesn& #39;t love free postage?!)
Log in and let the algorithms do the work for you. Have you got a budget you& #39;re happy to spend but can& #39;t find a decent discount? Fill up your basket and wait for the inevitable "we saw you browsing!" email. Often they& #39;ll sweeten the deal with a discount just by waiting 3 days.
Find the product names/item codes of items and use Google shopping to track them down cheaper. But beware of huge discounts when it comes to make up. If it& #39;s going on your face, it& #39;s probably worth spending the money with a legit retailer.
Speaking of make up... Learn to love a dupe. Search for [insert dreamy product here] dupe and you& #39;ll find reams of alternatives often cheaper, sometimes more ethical and in the best cases - better!
Finally, never. I repeat, NEVER pay full price for delivered pizza. Unless its @FatTonisPizza - then you& #39;re good.
