I don’t have a huge following on social media. I also don’t have a lot of time to post.

So I recently started using two concepts from @garyvee that help out:

1)Document. Don’t Create.
2)Repurpose your content.

Here’s an example (a thread) https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇" title="Down pointing backhand index" aria-label="Emoji: Down pointing backhand index">
I documented something that happened to me a week ago w/ a top 10 book publisher

I posted it as a 9-tweet thread

This took me around 10 minutes to write (see here) https://twitter.com/HassanO/status/1249033260556058626">https://twitter.com/HassanO/s...
The thread got some engagement (thanks @zhiachong )

But to maximize the 10-min spend, I re-wrote it as a blog post, sent an email to my subscribers & posted on Facebook

This took an additional 10 min (for cleanup + email blast + posting)

See post here https://www.writerontheside.com/why-i-said-no-to-a-top-10-traditional-book-publisher/">https://www.writerontheside.com/why-i-sai...
I then took screenshots of every tweet and reposted them as pics on Instagram

+ 5 minutes

This got some additional engagement

Next, I’ll use that same content on the next episode of my podcast (in 2 weeks) as a “quick update” to listeners.

This helps w/ reducing time spent on content creation & still keeping a small audience engaged

~30 min of documenting + reposting for max ROI
I love connecting w/ people via social, but I also have a full-time job + side projects + family, so I’m sticking to this strategy for a bit because I don& #39;t have a lot of timehttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😊" title="Smiling face with smiling eyes" aria-label="Emoji: Smiling face with smiling eyes">

(PS This thread is a & #39;meta& #39; version of "Document. Don& #39;t Create." https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😉" title="Winking face" aria-label="Emoji: Winking face"> )
