1. California Governor @GavinNewsom on the process required to re-open the state.

"There is no light switch here. Think of it as a dimmer. It will toggle between less restrictive and more restrictive."

Here are the six things he (and state health officials) said are required:

- Perhaps half as many tables
- Disposable menus
- Waiter will be wearing a mask and gloves

Just some of the stuff that he said will have to change before restaurants are re-opened.

3. @Gavinnewsom says retailers will have to re-design their spaces.

Offices will also have to re-design their spaces.

More teleworking. More distance learning.

4. @GavinNewsom adds that two major factors have to fall into place before he even considers any re-opening. He must see
We want to see hospitalization numbers flatten and start to decline and ICU numbers flatten and decline.

5. But @GavinNewsom warns this will be a very, very long road and until there's a vaccine, Californians can expect to see a very different way of life...adding that California will be guided by science

He also notes that building a workforce that can handle tracing is critical.
