1/ Starting your own podcast is great BUT it takes time to build the audience.
Laura decided time would be better spent borrowing other people’s audiences by getting on their shows.

2/ It doesn’t matter what you do, you can reach pretty much any demographic or niche via a podcast
3/ You can’t sit around waiting to be asked to guest interview - you have to go out there and pitch.
4/ When you pitch, customize it to the podcast.
Look for an angle where you can offer something to their audience, from your unique combination of experiences.

5/ If you’re going to do guest interviews, Laura doesn’t recommend spending lots of time creating unique landing pages and email sequences. To find attribution, ask your customers.
