I'm taking a brief break from my Twitter hiatus to comment on the grabby-hand state governments infringing on rights. 1/
This is a good reminder of the importance of JURIES in our constitutional order.
Remember that before the feds can throw you in the slammer, they have to convince a bunch of random, private people with no stake in the outcome that you are guilty.
That is HUGELY important to remember when we see stories about states getting aggressive!

Push comes to shove, they'll need the broad support from the citizenry to defend these measures.
Juries are pretty amazing. They have a narrow scope of power, but within that narrow scope it is comprehensive.

Usually, we just think of them as a hassle. But they are a true bulwark of liberty.
