Personally I love reading the occasional piece of unwoke literature by a dead rich white man. I love sucking the marrow of everything good and beautiful out of it, tossing the bones of racism and cishet normativity aside, and becoming more nourished and powerful as a writer.

Do this mean people are morally obligated to read classics, or to say thank you when work that doesn't speak to them is foisted on them? Or that old white men haven't written damn fine, progressive books? Nope. I'm just fueled by eldritch magic, spite, and a liberal arts degree.
