It's also worth noting that the executive order does not apply to just #WWE. It applies to #AEW. It applies to any pro sport or entertainment entity with a national audience. The Orlando Magic could have a scrimmage tomorrow if they wanted to.

. @OrangeCoSheriff was called again yesterday (April 13) regarding the live Monday Night Raw taping, but at that point, the new Executive Order signed April 9 allowed for #WWE to operate as an essential business.

DeSantis was asked specifically about essential businesses being given the go and #WWE was brought up as the example. Only briefly touched that, spoke at length to discuss all of the other sports he’d like to see back, emphasizing their importance. He then walked off the podium.
