for searches to see if a charity is valid and registered in the US with the IRS :

This particular charity was very open and forthcoming with their EIN number, which makes it easier to check into them, the IRS notes if a charity has been revoked or charged in the past. If you dont have the EIN number you can also search by the charities name. If you get an

online request for charitable donations make sure the info the person online gives is linked to a real charity, their links for donations should have the same info as what is registered with the IRS, as is this one "Child Hope Worldwide, Inc"

The person tweeting is a diff organization and the owner of the twitter account is from the dominican republic, the donations are being received through a valid charity. Its either a really good scam or valid charity, the validity for me is that they arent taking $ themselves.

this is my vast knowledge of looking into charities, it looks legit to me but perhaps someone with more knowledge will tell me if i am wrong.
