Alright time to disprove everyone who says “Deku has no resolve to fight without a quirk”

Cuz ya’ll sound dumb as fuck tryna hate on my mans without any knowledge
First off - he was never in a position where Society NEEDED him to fight and protect people quirkless.

He grew up in a society that had super hero’s walking the streets daily. It’s not like there was a need for him to go out and help people

So - he didn’t.
There was no reason for him to risk his fucking life and go and try and raw dog that shit by himself - without a super power

Now - RIGHT WHEN HE HAS A NEED AND A REASON TO DO THIS - HE DOES IT
Right when he see’s a situation where no one else is helping - he jumps in and does it himself

Knowing fully that he’ll probably die

He jumps into save Bakugo when no one else is. This shows without a doubt that Deku has a resolve to save people (even quirkless)
He only calls on that resolve when there is a GENUINE NEED for him to act. He see’s there is zero people and zero heroes doing anything (Cuz they couldn’t)

He’s not a fucking retard -
Deku knows there is NO REASON for him to endanger himself, and others trying to play hero - especially when there are THOUSANDS of real heroes he would be getting in the way of.

He calls on his resolve when no one else is around to do anything - he played it smart
And only acted when he saw that “hey - I have an actual chance of saving his life here, I need to save him”

Retroactively yes, he acted on instinct - but that only shows us more of his resolve shining through.

But NO NO - Deku doesn’t have a resolve to be a hero at all
Now to further disprove this claim, during the Joint Training arc Deku is put into a position where HE CANT USE HIS QUIRK (so he’s quirkless) and he doesn’t even have anyone to save

He would be fighting to win - so this is where we see his resolve to actually fight
Not only is this showcased during the Deku Vs. Bakugo fight where we see Deku say himself that he wants to beat his opponent and WIN (similar to how Bakugo feels most of the time) not just save

But we see it right here
Deku is put into a position where he fights without a quirk willingly - wanting to win

There was no exterior motive forcing him to fight

He did that shit BY HIMSELF, he was like “alright I wanna do this I’m gonna fight quirk or not”
But NO - he definitely has no resolve to fight quirkless or anything

Shut your dumb asses up now

OH and another thing - anyone who says “Mirio is a way better candidate for OFA and he deserved it more”

Yeah - no shit
The whole point of that arc is to show that NO - Deku is NOT special, and NO - he is NOT the best candidate

That’s the FUCKING POINT

Our MC isn’t perfect - any GOOD MC isn’t perfect, it’s called room for growth and development
Deku see’s this shit and realizes “hey - I’m not the best person for the job. He deserves it way more but I have it so I have to live up to that expectation now”

We are supposed to see this and be like “damn, Deku isn’t the best person for the job. But he has it-
“And he has to live up to those expectations now.”

OUR MC ISNT PERFECT - he’s not supposed to be and that’s what makes his character so fucking great

He has genuine room for growth and development and he’s not a perfect person or character.
So shut up - stop slandering Deku cuz you don’t understand character writing and development - OR UNDERSTAND WATCHING THE FIRST 2 EPISODES

Good day.
p.s. ya'll forget he also was planning on going to the U.A. entrance ceremony? Or did u just skip the first few episodes or....
