OK, as an Aphmau fan myself, I support all of Jess's decisions for her channel. But, I have noticed that her channel has sort of..changed, which for the first time, I do not support. I liked how Jess's channel used to be different in a way, she never asked for subscribers, likes

or comments. But now, she has been doing that, asking for subscribers and what not, and while I can understand why she might be asking and stuff like that, it just seemed like such a strange change to her channel.

Something that I also noticed was that Jess's videos have also changed as a whole. A couple months ago, she used to be playing a wide variety of games and what not ,but now, she's solely sticking to Minecraft. She is a Minecraft channel, but I thought that she would have

stuck with playing different games with her friends or Jason, seeing as many of her viewers, including I, enjoyed watching them. But for something as little as her changing her video themes, not many were really aggravated by this.

However, what I believe to be the biggest change in her channel was what she did in her videos. A couple months ago, not only was playing a variety of games, but she was also doing a wide variety of things in them.

But now, most of her videos are all Minecraft prank videos, and while they were pretty funny at first, after a while, they started to get a little repetitive and boring. Something that I also noticed was that the way that everyone acted in the video seemed a little fake.

Aphmau's minigames like hide and seek or murder mystery used to be funny because everything was unexpected. But now, it isn't that funny anymore due to it feeling fake. And in my personal opinion, if Jess had stuck to how she was producing videos before, I feel like a lot of peo-

ple would've still enjoyed her content. Now before some random person says anything, I am NOT hating on her, and simply stating an opinion and facts. And I am NOT trying to frame Jess for being a bad guy just because she is making this kind of content.

From what I think, I believe that Jess has possibly changed her videos and whole channel so drastically because of the Youtube Algorithm. A couple months ago, Jess was racking up a lot of views from her videos, but compared to now, they were definitely less.

Now that Jess has changed her videos to things like Minecraft pranks and mods, her videos are gaining more traction to new people. However to an old fan like me, I don't really like the way her videos have changed, since I used to be exposed to something else on her channel.

But we need to remember that Jess has a husband and three kids to support, which is why her changing the videos like this was for the best financially. So she didn't just do this for the fame and the money, she did it for a completely plausible reason.

And this is where I will stop. The whole point of this thread was to spread awareness on the change that Aphmau's channel has gone through.

Now here's a message for the real Aphmau fans, we need to raise awareness on the subject, because I worry that if Jess keeps being repetitive with her prank videos, she might lose subscribers due to them getting bored. Tweet about it, post about it on Tumblr or Instagram.

Do anything you can so that more Aphmau fans can be aware of the situation. And if we try hard enough, maybe Jess will go back to posting her old videos. But that isn't the end, we need to stick together and watch these videos, because the whole reason she might've done this is

for the lack of views, which is equal to money that she gets from Youtube. And who knows, maybe Jess was happier making her old videos, and if that is the case, then we are also doing this for Jess's happiness as well.
