my dad slightly opened the door to two men saying that they were nypd and they barged into our home telling us that they were looking for guns ?? they grabbed my dad’s phone when he went to call 911 but when they saw my mom, my sister, and me calling, they made a run for it

astoria is relatively safe so we’re all a bit shaken up. it’s a scary time. only open your door if you’re absolutely certain of the person on the other side. here are actual nypd officers looking through our security cam footage with my mom’s plum tree getting in the way :/

update: apparently there were three of them, one was outside making sure things went according to plan wtf
