Willing to bet that in five years Jake Sanderson will be closer to the 10th best defenseman to come out of the NTDP among the 02/03/04 classes than the best.

Not even really a knock on him, but people need to cool their jets, imo.

Sanderson is a good player, who I think can turn into a really nice modern-day shutdown guy. But his upside is clearly limited.

A weak NTDP crop and weak class of defenders on the whole is seriously warping the perception around him, imo.
