Female Artists’ Total Pure Album (all types) Sales percentage per Continent: a thread

NB: I know North America and Latin America belong to a single continent, however I’ll be considering them separately - just like everybody else does - since they are two very different markets.

ROW means “Rest Of the World” and refers mostly to South Africa, Middle East countries and in general to very small markets around the world.

Chinese downloads are included and weighted as per their price, at selling price / 50. For many artists Chinese DLs are missing. This is due the fact that they were never available, especially pre-2015 albums. However, physical Chinese sales are fully included for everyone.

DISCLAIMER: this thread is NOT meant to drag / throw shade at ANYBODY. It’s simply interesting to see how female artists’ album sales are distributed across the world.
