American Apparel, 2006. This is just one of the brand& #39;s many ads starring highly sexualized women.
Abercrombie & Fitch. This & #39;homoerotic& #39; ad was shot by Bruce Weber, who has been accused of sexual assault by male models.
Marc Jacobs & #39;Lola& #39;, 2011. Banned in England for being sexually provocative. Dakota Fanning was 17 years old
Calvin Klein, 1992. Kate was underage and didn& #39;t know she would have to pose topless + with a guy. She had a nervous breakdown because of this.
CK series, 1995. People thought the models were underage and the poses were sexually suggestive, even tho all models were adults.
Calvin Klein, 1980. Brooke Shields was 15 years old when she appeared on TV saying "You wanna know what& #39;s between me and my Calvins? Nothing"
Yves Saint Laurent & #39;M7 Fragrance& #39;, 2002. Inspired by the famous black and white photographs of Yves Saint Laurent himself.
Most of these campaigns are VERY wrong. Especially the Dolce and Gabbana one. Imagine how uncomfortable (to say the least) models felt shooting all these pictures...
Anyways, that was it. Feel free to reply to this tweet with your thoughts or other ad that wasn& #39;t mentioned here.

I hope people understand how wrong some of these are and don& #39;t romanticize the clear objectification of women that& #39;s being portrayed.

Would you like a Part II?
I& #39;ll do it. When would it be better to do the Part ll then? (Which, by the way, won& #39;t be in this thread. It will be another independent thread).
