You're right, because Deku doesn't have the strength or the resolve to fight without one. And THAT'S why I don't like him.

My respect for him as a character would go up infinitely if he was given a situation where he couldn't use his quirks, had no one to back him up, and he still had to throw hands.

As much shit as I give MCU Spider-Man it did that right.
